ROPA is a method that allows gestation to be a shared experience when a couple of women face an assisted reproduction treatment.
The eggs are obtained from one of the women and fertilized with donor sperm.
The resulting embryos are transferred to the uterus of her partner.
It is advisable that the younger partner provides the oocytes since younger eggs yield better results.
